Suw’siw’ | Theresa Bernadette Thorne
February 27, 1935 – May 26, 2002
Suw’siw’ Theresa Thorne was a respected Elder, Knowledge Keeper, Hul’q’umi’num’ language teacher, healer and herbalist. She was also a skilled basketmaker. Theresa was born to parents Bazil (also written Basil) and Cecilia (nee Leo or Whinam) Alphonse.
